I feel reactionary, but I would vote for French only laws if it kept absurdities like this off the street. Check out the weird ways they decided to use English.

I love shake ton booty as a phrase! I am rather confused though about MTV base. If you pronounce base with its french accent, it becomes baze, which indirectly means something completely different in French.
I heart France and its odd use of English. They insist on using English words, then completely change the meaning of that word or use a French pronunciation. No wonder I sometimes (often) get soooo confused in my lessons.
