Again with the studying, but I've noticed that between my notes from the very beginning of the year and my notes from my most recent classes, there is a significant difference.
In the beginning of the year, I left blanks more often, wrote homophones, made grammaticale mistakes, and struggled to understand and write everything down. My notes from the end of the year have almost no blanks, and a lot fewer mistakes.
Even though I started the year speaking French "well", I've definitly progressed, especially in listening comprehension. It's funny how it happens so gradually that you don't notice until you're confronted with something concrete from the past.
Now I wish I could go back and do those first classes over again but with my improved listening comprehension. I'm sure I'd get a lot more out of them.
