Anyone know a French couple married and without kids by choice? I'm thinking past childbaring age as well.
I asked B and his parents and they couldn't think of anyone who was married and chose not to have kids. One or two couples who lived together without kids, but not married. B proposed the idea that if you have kids it's only natural you wouldn't be friends with people who don't have kids, but I quickly discredited that as really dumb. I grew up knowing friends of my parents who chose to never have kids, and my parents were still able to be friends with them.
So, know any friends of friends who at least 50 who've been married 15 years or more and chose to not have children? I'm curious if it exists in France.
