B just told me there's a phone message from someplace that is interested in hiring me as an English instructor.
Reminder: the last résumés I sent were about August 10th.
How do these places think that I'll still be available? It's a few days from November, and they've taken that long to decide who they want to contact? The local San Diego government hired me faster than some of these private firms in France. B said there are still a few letters from ANPE bureaus trickling in (saying the job is filled).
Not that I love my temp job closing out work orders in a database, but I only went about 10 days from registration with the agency to working for a client. Health care sucks here, but getting employed is miles away from France.
