Stealing the sunlight

A while ago there was a similar post on Télérama about the differences between the major TV stations when they presented the time of sunrise and sunset at the end of the weather, but today I found a post "Quand TF1 retient la nuit, M6 censure le soleil" about the solstice.

Both articles are really tongue in cheek, but at the same time, isn't it weird that the stations all have different information? I could understand the stations having 1 minute differences on both ends, but sometimes there are 4, 5 or 6 minute differences. Is someone measuring in Nice and another person in Lille?

And speaking of stealing the sunlight, someone apparently thought it'd be cool if Toulouse was completely gray today. Sure doesn't motive me, but I do have to go out.
