This weekend is the "Journées du patrimoine" festival across France, so get ready to get your culture on!
B and I are signed up to visit the archives of the local library, and the university is opening up the archeological dig on its grounds for the staff.
The official website is kind of crappy, but the guide Haute Garonne has put together is decent and you can easily find what's available.
In previous years we've visited the studios of France 3, the hôtel particulier where the Culture ministry is based, the house of the army general for Toulouse, the Credit Municipale, and a hôtel particulier now part of a high school.
I'm thinking about branching out this year and trying to visit something outside of Toulouse as well, such as the Chateau de Laréole. What are you going to visit?
